The flag-raising ceremony held on April 6, 2026, at the Cabuyao City Hall grounds brought together city officials, the University of Cabuyao (Pamantasan ng Cabuyao) Management Committee (Mancom), and university personnel in a celebration of achievement and community pride.
A highlight of the ceremony was the recognition of outstanding UC-PnC graduates who excelled in their respective licensure examinations. Leading the honorees was Engr. Kenneth John P. Cayaga, who secured Top 2 in the Electronics Engineer Licensure Examination (EELE). Also recognized was Engr. James Brian A. Salazar, who placed Top 4 in the Electronics Technician Licensure Examination (ETLE), reflecting the universityโs commitment to producing highly skilled professionals.
Following the ceremony, Hon. City MAYOR Dennis DENHA Hain, Chairperson of the UC-PnC Board of Regents, together with Hon. Jose Benson โSonnyโ G. Aguillo, Chairperson of the Committee on Education and member of the UC-PnC Board of Regents, invited the topnotchersโalong with their parents, the College of Engineering (COE) Dean, Electronics Engineering Department Chair, COE faculty, and Mancomโto the mayorโs office for a personal commendation. During the meeting, the mayor congratulated them and awarded incentives in recognition of their achievements.
The event underscored the strong partnership between the local government and the university in fostering excellence and inspiring future generations.
